Deciding to seek care for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions can be unnerving. You are not quite sure what to expect and the levels of care available to you.
Golden State Recovery is proud to bring you our intensive outpatient program (IOP), which is our most flexible care option because we believe that seeking and receiving care must be seamless and fit right in with your needs and life. Our IOP runs between 3-5 hours, for 3 days a week, and for a set number of weeks. You can opt for our morning or evening option at your convenience.
You receive intensive structure and care during scheduled hours in a day, and you get to go home soon after. You can also fulfill your other commitments and responsibilities even as we lay the foundation for healing and lasting recovery. It does not have to be choosing one or the other anymore!

Is an Intensive Outpatient Program Right for Me or My Loved One?

An intensive outpatient program is used to treat mild to moderate substance use or mental health conditions that do not require round-the-clock supervision and overnight hospital stays. It can also be a step-down option if you are transitioning from higher levels of care, like residential care or a partial hospitalization program, to independent living.
