Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Peaceful Path’s PHP is designed to give you the focused care you need while not disrupting your life. We strive to meet you right in the middle, where we offer intensive structure, therapy, and support, so that you can heal and reclaim your control over your life from substance use and mental health conditions.

Many times, it so happens that people do not know of the entire spectrum of treatment options between outpatient therapy and residential rehabilitation (rehab). When you are struggling with behavioral or mental health challenges, only weekly therapy or putting your life and other commitments on hold for full-time rehab are not always the best options. As you transition back from round-the-clock care to independent living, you can often feel confused and lost. Therefore, you need something that is a bridge between weekly therapy sessions and residential care that will provide you with the structure and support you need to get your life back on track as you embark on recovery.
This is where Peaceful Path Recovery’s partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) come in. Our PHPs offer intensive behavioral and mental health treatment while allowing you to stay in your own home or a sober living residence during the nights.
What is a Partial Hospitalization Program?
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is an intensive, structured treatment program that provides you with several hours of mental health treatment during the day, five days a week. It is a good fit for you if you are stable enough to sustain yourself in a non-residential setting but are having a difficult time coping with your thinking, feelings, and daily life functioning.
Our PHPs are condition-specific and personalized in that they offer you comprehensive and holistic care options that are tailored to your needs and circumstances. At the same, they are also flexible so that you can return to your home or a sober living facility after treatment. Our PHPs typically involve psychotherapy (or therapy), medication management, social support, and aftercare and offer the following components:
- Holistic, personalized, and expert care
- Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation
- Individual and group therapy
- Family therapy
- Productive coping skills, emotion regulation skills, and other life skills.
- Medication management services when needed.
- Psychoeducational sessions regarding mental health and substance misuse.
- Flexibility to fulfill your academics, job, and family commitments.
- Peer empowerment, where you can develop and foster connections with those on similar recovery journeys as you.
